I have a product in need of a gift box and a shipping box.  My product  consists of three pieces, a glass candle, a bottle of candle oil and an empty fill bottle.  My thoughts were to place the candle oil and fill bottle behind the glass candle, making the dimension - 7.75" x 5.5" x  9".  This is without any extra space for cushioning.  The height of  the glass candle is 5.75" and the height of the candle oil is 9".

Could the candle oil be packaged on it's side, and should I be  concerned with the bottle leaking? If this is possible the box size,  without extra space would be, 9" x 7" x 5.75".  The weight of all  three is 9 lbs.

The gift box I like is on dunwoodybooth.com, the gloss ivory rigid box. I would like to dress up the box with a elegant  ribbon, along with my website imprinted on the box.  I guess knowing  what type of product I have would help.  I etch glass candles for  special occasions such as wedding, anniversaries and births.  I would  appreciated any input, ideas, suggestions you could send my way.  I am exhausted searching the internet, I have learned if you don't know the  correct terminology your just swimming in space.

I’m on the hunt for packaging for a drink, the profits of which go to feeding starving kids – so I’m looking for low cost packing. Our natural, no caffeine drink is also a health bounty – our medical school just took out a patent on it as a cancer preventive – its made of bamboo leaves – check out http://www.goldenbasin.com/ for more info (although the beverage is not on the site – just the rice). I’m also looking for innovative packaging for the rice. We’re a green company – so we’re looking for green packaging as well.

I'm trying to locate the manufacturer of a greeting card style box I saw on a cookie website: Cookiesbydesign.com The item is listed as Tasteful Greetings close to bottom of list on left side of site. I've searched all the sites I could find on Google, Ask and Yahoo and could not find it. There appears to be a patent on it, but I could not find a source to buy the boxes.

I am looking for some sources on canned aerosal fogger manufacturers. I am looking for some quotes on a 3 oz. can. I need the can and the processor. This would be the same thing as a bug bomb. However, it is not an insecticide application. There are no EPA issues. I want pricing on prototypes or samples & production. As for volume, just give me the price breaks and we will figure out how many to order on the prototypes or samples, base on the volume price breaks.

I'm looking for a "Tea Bagging" Company on the West Coast. I need to find someone who makes the "Pyramid" tea bag style here in the USA. Perhaps you have knowledge about packagers in this area and also the companies that make the foil individual wrappers for each tea bag and that really work with their customers.

I need a packaging/merchandising idea to encourage customers to buy more than one of my interchangeable beaded watch bands. (Here's what they look like: http://www.121collection.com/ .) The idea is to buy a few and change them out, but most people only buy one watch face and one watch band. I tried changing the pricing scheme to encourage customers to buy more than one, but it only confused them. Instead, I think the answer lies in the packaging.

I am looking to have a custom box made. The box is packaging for jewelry. Specifically, a watch face with three interchangeable bracelet bands. The overall dimension of the box is 6-1/2" square (it's a standard greeting-card size box). It has a clear plastic lid. What's custom about the box is the insert. I need an insert that has three one-inch channels that run the length of the box. The other "half" of the insert is a raised panel/pad that can be hot-stamped or otherwise branded with my logo, etc. and would hold the watchface (attached with glue or velcro). My dimensions are flexible and I am very willing to work with stock materials to keep the cost per box down.

I had a sample box made (and I have a picture of it), but the company that I am dealing with will only do a minimum quantity of 5,000 boxes. I am a small business and cannot afford the up front charge to order such a large quantity. Instead, I would like to order 1,000 to start. I'd like to get this underway so that I have stock for the Spring '07 craft show cycle.

We are looking for dishes that would be suitable for making our own frozen dinners at home. Thereby we could make 10 or 12 meals at a time, but we want to make sure they are completely safe out of the microwave. Are you aware of anyplace that we can get divided containers or dishes? Glass would be much better because I think they would be safer than any form of plastic dishes, but they may be ok. Thank you for any input you could give me.

We are a household product manufacturer that supplis to the retailers worlkside. WE are stepping up our environmental efforts, and specificly are looking into ways to replace our standard cartons, PE and PVC bags with more environmental friendly products (recyclable is a must, made of recycled materials is extra points).

- our cartons are already 80% recycled material. I get advise not to go over 80% due to strength (short fibers) and printing problems (more ink use, dirty look, non-even colour surfaces, smudgy edges,...). Are there no solutions for this ?

- We use non-toxic inks, as requested by law in Europe, but were thinking direction natural printing inks. Most people I also get advise against natural printing inks.

- PE bags are our inner packaging, not really the most environment friendly product. For more quality products we use PVC carrybags, what is even worse.

Any information you might have would be very useful.

We are a relatively small company right now. We are somewhat satisfied with our current packaging, however it is not time efficient or very user friendly. We love the kraft bag tin ties with windows but they don't currently make them in a quarter pound size, which is our smallest option. Do you think anyone would have suggestions on how to get around that? Please post our dilemma, we appreciate the help. Joana Canals/Tookee Toffee
